A few more snaps up at Glacier 3000. There’s been no fresh snow but the snow’s in good condition and the park looked great if you’re into that kind of thing!

A few snaps from Glacier 3000 this morning. It opened yesterday afternoon but we were out walking and I didn’t bother. There’s only one drag lift running for skiing right now and the main attraction really is the extensive snowpark although they were doing a good trade with tourists and dog rides etc

As the terrain is a bit limited I took my telemark skis up because the wide, easy angled slopes are ideal to practise a few telemark turns.

It seems like an age ago but I setup a Facebook Group for people with connections to the Val D’Anniviers. The group is one of the “old format” ones in Facebook which seems to mean it’s not great on mobile amongst other things.

If the group shows any sign of life they’ll upgrade it. So I just wanted to remind people it existed and where it could be found :
